Mr. Bailey

Grade 6/7/8 Math and Science

Hello all,

This is Mr. Ray Bailey’s class page. I welcome you to the 2017/2018 School Year. I am very excited about instructing your student in Mathematics and Science during this upcoming school year.

This will be my 32nd year as a public school teacher and feel fortunate that I am once again looking forward to a great year of academics and sports.

My personal background includes receiving my Bachelor of Science Degree in Wildlife Management from Humboldt State University with minors in Natural Resource Management and Native American Studies. I also attended graduate school at Calif. State University, Chico where I earned my Life Science and Multiple Subjects Credentials. In addition, I have been blessed with a second career as a 25 year + federal seasonal employee with the U.S. Forest Service Lassen National Forest’s Eagle Lake Ranger District as a wildlife biologist. Research that I have been involved with includes Mule Deer, Pronghorn Antelope, Black Bear, Pine Marten, Spotted Owls, Northern Goshawks, Flammulated Owls, Bats, Aspen, Western Pond Turtles, Osprey, and Bald Eagles in addition to others.

I look forward to working with you to help your student so please feel free to contact me at any time if I can be of assistance.
